Craven Motor Club has many competitors rallying in events in England and abroad. The photo below shows Mike Smith flying whilst leading the Historics on the Quality Hotels West Cork Stages in March 2006. Partnered by local Irish codriver, David Ryan, a good friend of Craven, Mike retired his Hillman Imp Californian with gearbox problems leaving fellow Craven member Ian Fisher to win the Historic event.
